The Great Escape Artist
by Zeneta Mary Gordon
18 April 1994

He has brown and black stripes
And wears a red harness
When the door opens
He is quick as can be
By the count of three
He is gone
Out the door and down the hall
Then, he changes his mind
And back he comes
In the door and on the bed
He curls up to wait
For his next
Great escape
