A Mother's Love

A mother's love
Is meant for her children
She carries them
For nine months
In her womb
After a period of labor
She delivers them
Into a new world
She will willingly
Give her life for them
Her love is never ending
Through sickness and health
She does her best for them
Throughout their lives
She will try to teach
All that she knows
She prays when they're late
For their safety and return
All that she has
She will give
Just so her children
Will live in peace
And when she is done
Raising her children
She watches as they raise theirs
Giving advice when needed
And knowing that her children
Are still growing and learning
Even as she
Still grows and learns
