This week was spent doing more ground work with Foxy. Monday I lunged him good. Tuesday I brushed him and lunged him. I also worked with Foxy on giving his feet. Wednesday, I did not do anything with him. I was not at the trianers on Thursday, and was there for only a short time on Friday.

Today, Saturday 22 April 1999, I worked with Foxy. I first wrapped his lead rope around him. Then, I picked up all of his feet and cleaned them. After I had done that, I had my daughter Debra, pick up his feet. She and I then lunged him. She wanted to see him trot and canter, which he did. After lunging Foxy, I draped the lunge line all over his back. I also draped his lead rope over his back. I also put a saddle blanket on Foxy's back for awhile. He stood still while I played with moving the blanket alll over him. He also stood when I lightly dropped it on his back several times.

I did not take any pictures this week. I am planning to take some next week. We may start riding him next week.
