I would like to tell you a little about myself. I was born in Germany in 1968, while my father was stationed there by the US Army. I have 4 sisters and 1 brother, all of whom are younger than me. Our parents now live in Yreka, CA.

While I was growing up, my family moved around a lot. This was because my father was in the US Army. While we lived in Germany, my next younger sister was born. She and I are the only ones of our siblings who were born outside of the United Sates of America. My next two sisters and my only brother were born in Texas. My youngest sister was born in northern California. I have lived in Alabama, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Florida, Tennessee and California, not in that order. The longest we have lived in one place, up until I graduated from high school, is six years.

I served in the US Navy from Nov 1989 to May 1993. During that time I was stationed at NAS Moffett Field. I went to Basic in Orlando, Florida, and to technical school in Memphis, Tennessee before being assigned to VP MAU at Moffett Field. In 1991, VP MAU was decommissioned and I was assigned to VP 91, where I remained until I was discharged.

I met my husband while in high school. Our daughters were born in 1987 and 1988. I joined the Navy to help provide for them. Our Home is in Hornbrook, CA. Hornbrook is on I-5 near the Oregon/California border.

At this time i am with my husband in Xinyang City, Henan Province, P. R. China. He is busy teaching English, while I clean house and do other things.

Now I will move on and tell you about some of the things I love. For one, I love both my daughters and my husband. I also love our current pets.

Other things that I love are horses, all animals, the wilderness, and crafts. I think Arabs are one of the most beautiful breeds of horses. When I can, I love to go hiking and camping. Some of my favorite crafts are rubber stamping, and photography.

Because I enjoy taking pictures and then sharing them with others, as time permits, I will add photos to these pages. Many of these photos will be of the things I like and enjoy.

Another of my favorite things to do is read. Some of my favorite authors are Anne McCaffrey, Mercedes Lackey, Terry Brooks, and David Eddings. I currently own all of the Pern and Crystal Singer books, most of the Valdemar books, all Shannara and Magic Kingdom books, and most of the Belgariad and Malloreon and companion books. I also have many other books by the above writers and by other writers.
